Wake a sleeping galaxy, one tiny planet at a time

Sprig

A tiny-planet platformer: run around little worlds, find the seeds, and watch each one bloom from lavender to green.

Overview

Sprig is a little seedling on a mission to wake a sleeping galaxy. Every world is a tiny planet you can run all the way around, with its own gravity holding you to the surface. Find the three glowing seeds on each one and the planet wakes up. Then a dandelion carries you to the next.

Highlights

  • The bloom. Pick up the last seed and a golden wave rolls across the planet. Grass grows behind it, buds pop open and bare trees leaf out.
  • A full set of moves. A double-jump flip, a leaf glide, a ground pound and a spin attack, with forgiving timing on every jump.
  • Worlds that play differently. Bouncy mushroom caps, a field of thistles and their boss the Burr, twin planets you cross in one leap, and a stone spire with warm updrafts to ride.
  • A finale worth the trip. Plant fifteen seeds in the Heart and a giant lotus opens, waking the sleeping sun.

How It’s Built

Nothing in the game is an image or a sound file. The planets, the seedling and every animation are made in code.

Process

Designed and built solo, using agentic engineering for the planet gravity and the bloom. Plays in a desktop browser with a keyboard or a gamepad.
